123 Challenge (June 2014) & a Creative Team Call
The June Challenge at the 123 Challenge Blog is now open and along with it is the half-yearly Creative Team Call. As some of you may have worked out by now I am the new Owner/Caretaker of the 123 Challenge Blog, and have to say a huge thank you to the girls for welcoming me so warmly and helping me to find my feet too.
The colour this month is Blue, the word is Together and the technique is Masking.
I have never shared these photographs with anyone (other than Quentin) before, not even my Mum or children. They were taken of Noah and I just moments after his birth, and yes he was a bit purple. He has been proudly telling everyone who will listen that he wasn’t light like his brother and sister when he was born – he was purple making him different and special. Well we all know he is special and have had to explain that he was a bit early and not very well when he was born. He actually went from purple to yellow in a matter of hours, and thankfully he managed to get himself through it all with our love and cuddles.
I enjoyed creating with lots of mist and ink on the Tim Holtz Resist background, adding some papers found in my scraps bag for layers. The wooden swirl has been embossed with the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Embossing Powder, which happens to be one of my all time loves – besides mist, etc.
