Ducks, Playgroup and Cards
Yesterday Noah and I went to Playgroup and had a great time playing with the other kids and catching-up with the other Mum’s. He likes to be prepared and take his favourite truck – “The Spiderman Van”. Since finding his sunnies yesterday morning Noah has worn them everywhere, and called himself a Cool Dude. He is so cute.
I made this card at the Super Saturday Crop at Scrapbook Fantasies on the weekend. I had trouble starting a page, so thought that a complex card might do the trick. I started this design from a pocket card that a friend shared with me. The pocket on the bottom left of the inside holds a mini-accordion book that is decorated on the front and back of each page.
Yesterday I created three cards. The first is an asymmetric accordian card for our dear friend Sue who is going to visit her daughter during the holidays. We miss her dearly when she is away. I have kept the back of the card very simple, but had loads of fun with the front.
The other two are made using Copic Colouring, my fav thing at the moment. I have listed the colours, etc below each card.

Today Quentin and I took Noah to the Duck Pond to feed the Ducks. He had a great time and thank goodness he didn’t notice the size of the Eels that he was feeding as well. His last full slice of bread was stolen by a large white domestic Duck that was way too tame. He went on about it for a while, but decided that next time he would tell it “No Taking!”
Anyway that is the catch-up and I have to say that I am so glad we have the Net working again…way too many emails over the weekend to go more than a couple of days without collecting them.
