Once Upon A Sketch – May 2012

I am very excited and honoured to share with you that along with the rest of the Scrapbook Fantasies Design Team I am a Guest Designer over at Once Upon A Sketch this month.  The challenge each month at Once Upon A Sketch is based on a theme and a matching sketch created by the very talented Nadia Cannizzo.  I enjoy the challenges at Once Upon A Sketch because they are not just about trying to follow a sketch, they make you journal and work to a theme.

The theme this month is: Mum

 Scrapbook Fantasies is also one of the sponsors at Once Upon A Sketch in May.  The prizes that they have donated are:

This is the layout I created with the theme and the sketch:

I created my layout about my Mum and how much I cherish and appreciate the relationship we have built together.  Anyone who has known me for a long time will know that I was a Daddies girl until the sudden passing of my dear Father in 1999.  It took time (several years) but his passing has brought Mum and I closer than we already were.
