What I created with my June Sketch

I wanted to share the layout I have created with my Layout Sketch for June.  I used an old technique called suspended mat with a bit of an updated twist.  The hand stitching took quite some time, but it is well worth the effort.  I actually have a post I am working on that gives tips on how to handstitch on cards and layouts, just a few more tweeks and it should be ready to go live.

There is still plenty of time to enter the challenge for a chance to win a voucher from Scrapbook Fantasies.  You can see what my Mum created with my sketch: here.

Supplies used:
Patterned papers, diecuts, letter stickers, rubons – Kaiser Check In
Paint – Jenni Boulin by Ranger

Ink – Versacolor (Pinecone)
Twine – WeR Memory Keepers
Buttons – Basic Grey
Pen – American Crafts Memory Marker (Denim)
Thread – DMC (Ecru)
Number Sticker – American Crafts Thickers
