Love is the Key Canvas
I know I am supposed to be sharing a layout today, however I really wanted to share this canvas that I finished about two weeks ago. Sometimes I like to keep my paintings to myself and sit them at my art desk for inspiration and personal meditation. This may sound silly to some of you, however when you live your creative life as openly as I do sometimes it’s nice to have a piece of personal art to yourself for a while.
I have only used Golden products to create this piece, all purchased from Scrapbook Fantasies. The texture was created using Light Molding Paste, a Prima Mask and a palette knife. The Keyhole was created with a Tim Holtz Sizzix die, some chipboard and Golden Iridescent Bronze (fine). The letters were adhered with Soft Gel (semi-gloss), and are from American Crafts (large) and Authentique (squares). All of the paint is Golden Fluid Acrylics in my fav teals/turquoises and magentas. The heart has been outlined with some Prismacolor Charcoal pencil which has then be smudged to create a shadow. Finally I sealed it all with two coats of Golden Gel Topcoat w/ UVLS (Gloss).
This is beautiful Alicia!!!
Alicia – this is beautiful! No wonder you kept it to yourself. Michelle.
