White with 1 – May 2016 – Love this Girl
I am back tonight to share with you another layout I created at the recent Scrapbook Fantasies Retreat that I hosted, and this time it is for the current White with 1 Challenge – which is to use White with Tangerine Tango.
Now anyone who knows me will definately know that I don’t shy away from a challenge, but seriously Tangerine is not a colour that I use very often – really if at all. White on the other hand is one of my favourite go-to’s from Gesso to flowers to paint to mist and pens, pearls, etc, etc.
Thankfully I still had out the remains of my Cocoa Vanilla Colour Me Happy stash and just grabbed out everything white and tangerine – flowers, epoxy dots, a doily, epoxy hearts, leaves and letter stickers.
I had also taught a Watercolour technique the week before with orange and peach Kaisercraft mists, which got the flick treatment on the background and a light spray on the lettering. This was followed by some Watercolour pencil hearts on the background too.
I borrowed the ink and glitter tape from Nana Joy, coloured the wooden words (Cocoa Vanilla too) with Liquid Pearls and salvaged some sequins from the leftovers of the Retreat Classes I taught (three classes in total). Oh and there is also a key from Cocoa Vanilla there too, along with cardstock, pearls and thread too.
Anyway you have a day (and a tiny bit) to get your White and Tangerine Tango layouts completed, photographed and uploaded too – no pressure at all!
Happy Creating and have a wonderful day
