A Busy Weekend
What a weekend….
We had Lily and Hayden over on Saturday afternoon and the kids all had an absolute ball trashing the lounge room and then the backyard. There were shoes everywhere in the backyard, trains all over the lounge room floor and surprisingly the Barbie house started it’s latest make-over.
On Saturday night I managed to complete one page and start a second. The completed page is with the June Page Competition Kit for Scrapbook Fantasies.
And the second page is using the photo’s that Naomi-Jon took of Quentin and I on Valentines Day this year.
I managed to complete it (based very roughly on my Sketch for this month) on Sunday morning whilst everyone else was at Church and I was at home looking after my sick little boy. He was so very unwell on Sunday with high temperatures, no desire to eat or drink and just a total lack of energy and will. He managed to come good at about 9.30pm when we wanted to go to bed and he wanted to make-up for his lost day.
Quentin and I took the kids to Spinnaker Park in the afternoon (whilst Mum watched the little sicky) for a bike ride and Year 3/5 social get-together. It was so much fun and we forgot to take photographs, living in the moment is sometimes better.
I also managed to finish my class for the Scrapbook Fantasies Online Classroom, just have to edit the photo’s and upload everything sometime today or tomorrow for release later in the week. But here is a sneaky look at the colours I have used:
Well that is it for now, better go look busy or something…or I could get the editing done for this Online Class so that I can start my next one on the weekend. Will have some cards to share hopefully tomorrow, started them on the weekend and didn’t quite get them finished.
