Art Journaling Class at Scrapbook Fantasies
This week we have the first of my new Art Journaling Classes that will be on the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month (except retreat weekends) at Scrapbook Fantasies. In this first Art Journaling class I will be teaching page prep, journal maintenance, finishing, basing, creating textured resist, edging and glazing – amongst other techniques that will pop-up as we go.
The cost of the class is $17 which includes tuition and use of my class supplies – this cost covers the design of an A5 (or smaller) double or A4 single page journal spread.
Please bring along an Art Journal (to guarantee the quality and outcome consider purchasing from Scrapbook Fantasies), paintbrushes, palette knife, black archival ink, white gesso, baby wipes, stencils or stamps you may have that you would prefer to use. All of these items (except baby wipes) are available for purchase at Scrapbook Fantasies on the day, and some items may be available to borrow in limited quantities during the class.
Additional items I will be providing during the class include Golden Fluid Acrylics, Golden High Flow Acrylic (Carbon Black), Darkroom Door Stamps, Golden Regular Gel Semi-Gloss, Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid Satin and Journal Wax – which you are most welcome to bring if you have them.
