Layout to Share

I created this layout at the Scrapbook Fantasies Retreat last weekend.  This was the 10th Retreat I have hosted and by far the best.  The ladies who attended were so lovely, kind and creative.  They have truely changed my life and helped me to regain a lot of confidence.  Thanks to their inspiration I really enjoyed the creative process of “Creating for the Pleasure of Creating” with this particular layout.

I haven’t done this for quite a while, and as most of you know the reasons are mostly business related.  So I have some good news…and not just that my Creativity is returning to normal…yes we are a step closer to having a new home for Scrapbook Fantasies, however I can’t share the location, date or details just yet.  Rest assured that I will post the good news here as soon as I can.

Anyway onto my layout, some details and a couple of close-ups.

I used the Viva Decor Precious Metal (602) paint with a piece of Ranger Cut’n’Dry foam to paint the flat flowers, chipboard corner (patting motion) and edges of all the papers and photograph.

Supplies used:
Patterned paper – Echo Park
Cardstock – Bazzill (Avalanche)
Mist – Lindy’s Stamp Gang (Pineapple Paradise)
Ink – Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Salty Ocean – masked, Worn Lipstick – stamped)
Mask – Crafters Workshop
Stamp – Darkroom Door (Scratches background)
Gesso – Jo Sonja (spread with a palette knife)
Paint – Viva Decor Precious Metals (602)
Pen – Tim Holtz Distress Marker (Broken China)
Chipboard corner – Memory Maze (cut into two pieces)
Flowers – Kaiser (roses), Green Tara (flat/painted)
Pearl swirls – Teresa Collins
Other – ribbon, pearls, bling
