I created this page at the Scrapbook Fantasies Retreat in August, using the Retreat group photograph. I haven’t done this before….actually getting the page done at the retreat. It usually takes me months to get to it.
I have used my current fav techniques of misting, stamping, distressing, doodling and inking the background to make it my own. I don’t know if this combination of techniques is popular or done by anyone else, but it has kind of evolved in my pages this past year. I have incorporated it in varying forms into my classes, and the girls seem to enjoy getting messy and having a go at this grungy effect. I have also used some of my favourite embellishments and rubons that happened to be on the table at the time, and sanded the photograph (of course!).
