Well the storm yesterday afternoon amounted to just about nothing, but the one we got in the middle of the night was a different story. There was lightening, thunder and a lot of rain. Thank goodness it didn’t last for long and there was no wind or hail.
Anyway after I had to switch off yesterday I went and made these two cards.
The first is with the scraps from the paper pieced and Copic coloured card I did the other day. I really like how it turned out, even though this isn’t a colour combination I would normally use. (Have to change that won’t I)
The second is using more of the Basic Grey Marjolaine 6×6 Paper Pad I have sitting on my desk and my November 2010 Card Sketch. That Prima ribbon is about six years old, and the brown gel pen I had stashed away matched it perfectly to tie it all together.
I thought I would also share with you what my darling children are doing right now…Yes can you believe it….No I haven’t added each child into the scene with Photoshop….They are happily playing Lego together after weeks, no months of rain and bad weather….and they aren’t fighting!
These are the moments that make being a Mum worthwhile and you realise just how much you really love your kids, no matter what mood they throw at you!
