A Nice Bright One

I created this nice bright layout about Noah’s 1st Birthday Party using the June sketch and theme from Once Upon A Sketch.  As Scrapbook Fantasies is now one of the regular monthly sponsors I thought I should participate and really love the theme/sketch combination.

I didn’t use the mist as it is intended to be used on the background, misting into the cap and shaking droplets of colour onto the background instead.  You do need to dry it between colours to keep each colour independent and not mixed.

As can be seen from the pictures below the photograph is also a flipper with journaling and a second photograph underneath.  I also did something I hadn’t bothered with for a very long time…printing my journaling onto vellum.  I had a lot to say and knew it just wouldn’t fit if I hand-wrote it.  The cardstock behind the vellum also has the mist blobs on it too.

The big number 1 was traced from a Rusty Pickle chipboard number onto the back of the Core’dinations glitter paper.
