A page to share and other stuff
I know it has been a while since I was on here, but work and kids and work and everything else just seems to be getting in the way at the moment.
I must firstly apologise to my Wednesday night ladies for cancelling the class, but I was really too unwell to make it in and teach the class. I am teaching it again tomorrow morning (Sat 30 July) from 10am and will also run it again on Wednesday 10 August from 7pm (the show public holiday in Gladstone).
I did create something a bit different this week….over sixty metres of hand-dyed lace for the class I will be teaching at the Scrapbook Fantasies Retreat in August. I am sorry, but I forgot to take a picture and the kits are now packed ready to go. (I will share a sneak peek of the class page next week)
I created this page on the weekend (and have had it waiting to upload ever since) using Colour Palette #68 from The Color Room (spelt wrong for Australia, but that is how it is spelt on the site). Once again I have used my current go to techniques of stamping, inking and misting my own custom background. The cardstock is from Bazzill, the flowers are all Prima, the lace and pink tinsel are Websters, the letters are Carolees and American Crafts, the brad is Bo Bunny, the stamp is Collections, the jewel strip is Kaiser and the scattered bling and pearls are from Prima. I used the new X-press Graph-x Clear Gel Glue to stick on the flowers and it is so great. It doesn’t spread or run, and it sticks reeeeal goooood.
And yes the candles did set fire to the cupcakes due to it taking so long to light 36 candles.
And finally this is what you do when you go to a concert (on a School Night). Yes, you get the t-shirt you conned your parents in purchasing, your hands and your shoes signed by the stars. Milton went to the “Loop-the-Loop” concert last night with some of the teachers and band members from School. He also attended a free Music Workshop hosted by the artists in the afternoon. The hands are now clean as the teachers attending did stipulate that they wouldn’t be held responsible for the Infringements received the next day (writing on one’s self is against the School Rules).
Hey! Milton a teenager. I don’t need to to ask whether Milton enjoyed himself.
