Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge – February 2014 Sketch
As some of you may have noticed I have added another Design Team list to the sidebar of my blog – Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge. I just don’t know where the days go, but they have definately disappeared over the last month or so since I found out that I was on this fabulous Design Team. Anne Pennington is the owner of AFSC and she is a pleasure to work with – as well as very creative.
You may not know that AFSC had a bit of a holiday recently and returned with a big bang in February with a gorgeous sketch challenge. I didn’t share my layout with you then, so thought I had better do so now.
I have used my favourite go-to product at the moment – Gelatos, with some Golden Gesso and simple layering.
This cute crocodile is from the Hello Sunshine range from Kaiser, and he has received some serious scissor attention to remove the white border he came with.
I don’t know if you can tell from the picture, but I painted some Dimensional Magic (same as Glossy Accents) onto the AC Thickers to give them some shine and texture.
And these few little items just happened to hanging around on my desk from another project, along with some twine I had pulled apart – so they were basically “Cluster Fodder”.
And this is the fabulous sketch which you can see that I flipped horizontally to accommodated the way Noah was looking in the photograph:
Well that is it for me, except to say that you should visit Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge and have a go at the challenges – of which there are two a month. The first Challenge for March is already up and definitely a fun one worth a go.
