Card Sketch Challenge – January 2013
First of all…Happy New Year everyone and I hope you all had a relaxing and stress-free holiday, as I did.
I have decided to give my Sketch Challenges a bit of a shake-up in 2013 and modify the way I do them to implement the changes that worked in my recent trial and flick the ones that didn’t. So to start with I am going back to having two sketches each month, however the Card will be on the 1st and the Layout will be on the 15th of each month. I am still giving ribbon packs valued at over $10 each (as donated by Scrapbook Fantasies) as the prizes plus FREE International postage. Now I will be giving one random prize and one prize to a winner selected by myself for each sketch challenge. I am also giving the responsibility to get prizes sent out over to the winners as I spend a lot of time chasing people up to get address’ and if winners want to pick-up from Scrapbook Fantasies themselves or not. I won’t have a feature colour anymore either, as that just made it too hard for those of us that are busy, busy, busy.
So without any further mucking around and explaining here is my Card Sketch Challenge for January 2013…
If you would like a chance to win a fabulous prize donated by Scrapbook Fantasies why not have a go at my Card Sketch Challenge. All you have to do is:
1. Create a card using my sketch (above).
2. Upload your card to your blog, the Scrapbook Fantasies Gallery (in the appropriate folder here) or another gallery (not hosted by a store of the same type as the Scrapbook Fantasies). Wherever you upload your creation/s to please make sure you link back to here to be eligible for a prize.
3. Come back here and add your name and the link to your layout using the Inlinkz tool below. You must do this step to be eligible for the prize. (Please only link to the actual gallery page or blog post that contains your layout, not the general gallery or blog address)
You have until midnight on 31 January 2013 (the time counter below will let you know how long you have).
I will draw one random winner and select a second winner based on my own taste, who will each receive a ribbon pack valued at over $10 (pictured below) from Scrapbook Fantasies, plus FREE International postage.
To get you started I have created a card using the sketch and the new Kaiser Botanical Odyssey collection, which has recently arrived at Scrapbook Fantasies.
So what are you waiting for…get creating!
That’s great that you had a stress free holiday.
I’ve been crazy busy covering our three kids school books in brown paper and we’ve been using masks, sprays, stamps and inks to decorate them. Kids are having a great time but I think by the 45th school book that I’ll be happy to get back into my scrap booking, card making and I’ll finally get to play with my new Golden Artist paints and mediums which are sitting on my desk calling my name.
My two girls are counting down the days until they get to attend the canvas art class on Friday. They are super excited.
