I had a fabulous time creating this layout of Naomi-Jon and my obsession with photographing her. (I will return in the next few days to reveal where and when I created this layout, and with whom) I have used the Once Upon A Sketch June sketch created by the fabulously talented Nadia Cannizzo. I have used a tonne of Prima flowers as usual with a bit of mixed media goodness on the background.

I have turned the sketch on its side to start with and created a mat for my main background (as I usually do). The background has some mist droplets and splats of Distress Stain. I have also coloured the Chipboard with Tarnished Brass Distress Stain, before adding some mist droplets.

I have hidden some twine under my flower clusters so that it just peaks out in loose random loops. For a softer finish I have used Prima Chalk Edger in Shabby Tote, instead of my usual Versacolor Pinecone.

My journaling reads: “Having such a beautiful daughter has lead to my most precious and addictive guilty pleasure of photographing every moment of her precious life. She doesn’t mind as she shares my second guilty pleasure of Scrapbooking girly style layouts. Which requires many many beautiful girly photographs of…our precious Naomi-Jon.”

My Mum has also created a layout, of my youngest son, with this sketch which you can see here.
