Counterfeit Kit Challenge #1 November – Hate It!

It’s Challenge time over at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog and as their Guest Designer for November it was my task to complete this the first challenge for the month – which is “Hate It!”.  I have to admit that I don’t take photographs of things that I hate, except for evidence exhibits or to text a reprimand.  But they never end-up in my albums, until now.

This particular incident happened after a camping trip to South End, when no-one would put the camping gear away – and Noah took to a sleep mat with his teeth (he was only 3).

I delved into my Counterfeit Kit and came up with the Hexagon punch, some awesome scraps and just the right blue – amongst other things.  The centre piece of patterned paper originally had a wood-look border that just had to be removed.

I have compromised with my title letters as I didn’t have enough upper or lower case of anything, hence the jumbled letters.

I was originally going to stop with my layout, but it just didn’t look complete – so on went the jewels, sequins and wooden arrows.

Well that’s it for me tonight and now it’s your turn to show us what you Hate, Dislike or Can’t Stand! at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge #1 for November.

Happy Creating and have a wonderful day

  1. The perfect subject for this challenge! Like that you dressed things up with the details for the last step – the arrows really make the photo decipherable. Not the four-legged beastie’s fault!

  2. Great way to document this unfortunate incident! I really like those fun arrows which lighten up the feeling of the page. Thanks for being a great GD this month – was lovely to have you with us!
