Counterfeit Kit Challenge Reveal – November 2015
I have been asked by the lovely Bethany to be the Guest Designer at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge this month. And I have to say that it has been a pleasure to work with her on this project, and an honor to be invited.
This month our Counterfeit Kits are inspired by the Cedar Lane Collection from Pink Paislee….
I looked at this image for quite some time, and brainstormed a whole list of words and items that I then used to create my kit:
- frames
- tassles
- wood shapes
- library pockets
- paper clips
- tags
- embroidery
- ephemera
- watercolour
- leaves
- cork
- rosettes
- script words
- crochet
- violet
- gold
- silver
- pink
- peach
- ivory
- blue
- aqua
- brown
- grey
- beige
- wood
- feathers
- stripes
- hexagons
- orange
And I could have continued on from there, but decided to put my kit together – which ended up being quite sizeable. I will keep the images a little smaller than usual as this is already getting to be a very long post, and I know you all want to get around to the rest of the team and see their kits too.
Papers
Alphas
Dies (of course)
Scrap Box Goodness

This month the Master Forgers are creating their own add on kit? We are each picking an item to add to our kit so pay close attention to the hop to see what we are adding. Feel free to use one or more of our ideas to make your own add on kit for November? We will share a complete list of our add-on’s tomorrow.
I decided to add a pack of the new Cocoa Vanilla Studio Tis the Season Sequins:

Well that is it for me today, and as always Happy Creating and have a wonderful day
I often start my kit with a (much shorter) list of words too. Love the mix of colours and embellshments – and those dies are brilliant. Enjoy!
That’s quite a nice kit! I’m especially, lovin’ the embellishments and punches. Looking forward to your projects!
That looks very scrumptious Alicia. I especially like that you have added in so many scraps and punches – those should work well together. Enjoy that kit and thanks for playing along with us as guest designer this month.
You didn’t forget a thing in your kit! What a great selection of dies. So glad you are playing along with us this month as guest designer. Enjoy!
What a lovely selection of supplies! I especially love the wet media kit!
Welcome to the team this month Alicia! What a wonderful kit you’ve collected. I started with a list too but mine only usually has colors and sometimes patterns. I like that you added some scraps to your kit – what a perfect way to use up some of those odds and ends we all have hanging around. Looking forward to seeing what you make this month!
Now your my kind of scrapper 🙂 Love the big kit! Congrats on being the guest designer this month and what fun to see your process in action 🙂 I too start with a list of words (you got more colors than I did out the kit 🙂 which is fabulous! and love all your bits and pieces. I really like how you put all the wet stuff together and that is plenty of fun right there for that 🙂 Looking forward to seeing what you create with that fabulous kit 🙂
Love how you put your kit together with the list of inspiration words, and I especially love the wet media you’ve included!
Fantastic! And so love the add on of the sequins! Wish I had some of those leaf punches!
This looks wonderful Alicia and welcome to our little group of crafters.
Enjoy using your Counterfeit kit, I’m sure you will.
Welcome to the team this month Alicia! Glad to have you on board and your kit is great. I sometimes start a kit with a list and it certainly seems to have served you well. I’m interested to see how you break your kit down into each of the elements and include dies, mists, punches etc ! Very clever! It looks like a big kit and I’m sure it will serve you well with many gorgeous pages. I love the add on – swoon!
Wow–what a kit! I want to scrapbook just looking at all of those supplies! My favorite is definitely those gorgeous sequins!
What a fun kit! Lately I almost always make a list of the main elements of the kit that inspire me and then go from there.
Wow…that’s a HUGE kit!! Looks like the size of one that I tend to put together!!! Have a great time using it up. I can’t wait to see what you do with it
Alicia! Thanks so much for being our GDT at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge this month – I am sure everyone will find your kit really inspiring. I usually add a lot of scraps to my kits (either using them as the base of my kit) or using them to create my counterfeits, but I usually only show them off once they’ve been tunred into something else. You have me thinking that I should show them in their raw state as well!
Really looking forward to getting to know you better over the next month x
So happy to have you spending November with us at CKC! You are certainly off to a roaring start with your lovely kit. I especially love that you included some “tools of the trade” to inspire you. Thank you for a wonderful presentation.
What a lovely kit. Looks like you will have plenty to scrap with this month. Looking forward to your projects.
