La-La Land Card & Anzac Day

I created this card this afternoon using my April Card Sketch.  I have used one of the lovely new La-La Land stamps, Winter Marci.

Patterned Papers: Stella Rose Mabel by My Minds Eye

Cardstock: Bazzill
Cutting Dies: Spellbinders
Flower & Pearl Swirls:Prima
Other: Cluny Lace (coloured with YR15, YR18 and BG07 Copics, then sprayed with Colourless Blender), Carolees Creations letter stickers, Maya Road Pin, edge distresser, foam tape, Memento Rich Cocoa Ink, Pinecone Versacolor Ink, white & silver gel pen

Lest We Forget

I took the kids to the main parade today (Quentin and the older kids went to Dawn Service as well).  They had a great time and it was as usual wonderful to see them take part in this important part of our history.  The parade was great to watch, the service was touching and the jet fly-over didn’t disappoint.  This is a picture I took of Milton in his uniform at the Service after the Parade.

I have to go now to check on the progress of my Birthday dinner (Quentin is cooking my Apricot Chicken specialty).  It doesn’t sound too good at the moment, and I know I don’t make that much mess either.  Milton has made me a Birthday cake for our dessert as well.
