Once Upon A Sketch – February 2014
I have created this layout using the February Sketch at Once Upon A Sketch. It is as always a fabulous sketch created by Nadia Cannizzo.
I have journalled about Naomi-Jon’s addiction to cuddles with her baby brother, back in 2007. I have to add that she still has this addiction and so does he, they have always shared a special bond which we love.
Now for some close-ups of my layout:
I have used the Mists, Gelatos, Absorbent Ground and Light Molding Paste to create a fabulously touchable Mixed Media background.
I have also used the Gelatos with water added to add detail to the embellishments and background. I used the pink and aqua/mint as highlights, and then the coconut (white) to tone them down when the colours popped too much.

Ooooh..this is soooo cute & what a really sweet addiction to have! I was lucky to receive some ribbons from OUAS…& now I’m on the DT…how weird is that, eh? Anyways, I digress…but I must say, LOOOOVE how you’ve used the Gelatos too – I’m addicted to them, too…they are THE most delish sticks of colour & sooo easy to use….A fabulous take on our OUAS sketch….thanks sooo much for playing along:):):)
