Hello and welcome to my post about the Scrap Our Stash Sketch Challenge for May, and my take on the challenge. I have used some selfies I took with Noah when he was a baby, and as he will soon be 11 I thought it was time to scrapbook them.
The challenge was to follow the Sketch and use stash items for each letter in the word “Mother”, and I used:
- M – Metal charm, Mist
- O – Oval diecut
- T – Tree Cabachon
- H – Heart stickers, Heart embellie
- E – Enamel stars
- R – Resin star
I love layering embellishments and including meaningful details in my layout, which worked perfectly with this sketch and letter challenge.
I dug through my stash of Cocoa Vanilla Studio embellishments and my bestie Joanna’s paper scraps to find what I needed, including some plastic stars, flair, puffy stickers, enamel stickers, flowers, etc, etc, etc.
My background was created with the smushing technique I have been playing with and perfecting over the past month, and I am very happy with the results.
