Scrap Our Stash Tic Tac Toe Challenge – May 2017 – Happy Inky Girl
Hi and welcome back for a post about a layout I created at the recent Scrapbook Fantasies Retreat that my husband and I hosted.
This is the layout I created for the current Scrap Our Stash challenge, which is to use a row from a Tic-Tac-Toe board – which I used 3 plus patterned papers, tickets and vellum – using a pack of really old stuff I had in my stash from around 2007.
Most of the product in the pack was from Basic Grey when it was single sided, Sandylion which is super hard to get now and a Chipboard company that disappeared about five years ago. It was all originally part of a Designer Scrapbooking Kit that we used to sell at Scrapbook Fantasies, so there wasn’t a real lot left to play with – hence raiding my stash of Prima Flower Orphans was required.
I have used pinecone ink on the edges to unify all of the elements (old and new) – that was also something I would have done “Back in the Day” too. The Butterfly diecut is new and I have coated it with liquid pearls to give it a bit of shimmer and interest.
So that is my take on the May Tic Tac Toe challenge from Scrap Our Stash:
Happy Creating and have a wonderful day
