Today I wanted to share the layout I created using this months challenge at White With 1, which is to use White with Grape. I loved this challenge colour scheme and revisited the Gelato technique I taught at Scrapbook Fantasies last week – you can view that layout here.

Gelatos by Faber Castell – Grape Grape, Metallic Grape, Raspberry
Mediums – Golden Gesso (white), Golden Light Molding Paste
Templates – Prima (doily), Crafters Workshop (butterflies)
Embellishments – Prima (flowers, resin butterfly), American Crafts (glitter tape), Maya Road (pins), Basic Grey (pearl swirls)
Ink – Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Dusty Concord), VersaMagic (Purple Hydrangea)
Stamp – Colop (date)
Pen – Zig Writer
I wanted to also say a huge thank you to everyone who has wished me well and a healthy recovery. I am feeling better today than I have in weeks, even though I thought I was getting better I was actually getting worse as the medication wasn’t quite right. I have a little bit to go but I can definately see the light at the end of the tunnel now – just looking forward to being 100% again soon.
