A Fabulously Arty Weekend

Well I am back from my weekend and a bit away in Brisbane attending Paint Mojo with the fabulously talented Tracy Verdugo.  I also spent time with my family and friends in Brissy, whom I don’t get to see nearly as often as I would like.

I am very happy with my painting, although it does need a couple of little details to be truly finished.  Two of the most fantastic parts of the weekend were learning not to compare my work (or myself) to the others in the class and meeting the most wonderful group of talented women.

Here are some pics from the weekend (hover over the images for captions):

Janine has also shared more pictures from the weekend on her blog here.

I will be back tomorrow with my February Layout Sketch Challenge.

  2. Hi Alicia…thank you for posting about the weekend. It was a pleasure to hang out with you and all of the other wonderful women. I loved your bubbly enthusiasm. It was contagious. So glad you got to have some “me” time AND learn some new skills AND make some new friends! xo
