Couture Creations DT Reveal | Scoring Board Rosette Canvas Part 3
Hi and welcome back to the third post for my Rosette project – which is by far the most exciting for me as I am sharing with you my discovery of how to add foil to a Canvas background, Rosettes and almost anything else. Now don’t misunderstand me here this technique does not apply the foil perfectly or in a set or controllable pattern. It is very Random – and a bit Mixed Media looking – just my thing. The secret ingredient is my Craft/Travel Iron (or you could use your regular Iron if you don’t mind it getting a bit dirty) – and as you will see from my…

Couture Creations DT Reveal | Scoring Board Rosette Canvas Part 2
Hi and welcome back to the second post for my Rosette project – which is a Canvas with a Heart of Rosettes. I used my Couture Creations Heat Tool and Super Sparkle Embossing Powders to recolour the brads for the Rosette centres. I used Copper followed by Gold Super Sparkle Embossing Powder so that the finished brads had more depth and colour variance. I have used Helmar 450 Glue to adhere the Rosettes to the canvas so that they wouldn’t fall off when the canvas was hung on the wall. I have a short Video for you showing how painted the background with a mix of Gesso and Liquid Drops…

Couture Creations DT Reveal |Butterfly Garden | Framed Butterflies
[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”] [et_pb_row admin_label=”row”] [et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”] Hi and welcome to my post today which is a quick and lovely project that would make a perfect gift for Mothers Day – which happens to be just around the corner here in Australia. As you may have realised the Butterfly Garden collection has lots of Butterflies on the papers and the ephemera that are perfect for fussy-cutting to use on projects like this. I layered my favourite paper from the collection with some off-white cardstock and gold glitter cardstock to create the background. The “Life is Beautiful” sentiment came from the Ephemera pack, and with the addition of some foam dots…

Couture Creations DT Reveal | Special Occasions Decorative Embellished Candle
Hi everyone and welcome to my post today which is a Decorative Embellished Candle that would be perfect as a Gift or Special Occasion Table Setting. The products I have used just happen to be from the new Special Occasions collection from Couture Creations. This collection would also make the most beautiful Invitations for a Wedding, Engagement, Christening, Anniversary or Special Birthday. I have used a white candle that I purchased from Target, however any pillar candle in white or cream would work just as well. I started by choosing the papers, foil and cutting dies that worked together to create a simple and elegant design. I added Diecut’N Bond…

Altered Paintbrush
A little while ago I liked an Altered Paintbrush Swap on Facebook, and somehow I also signed-up for it too. So to cut a long story short I made my Altered Paintbrush, sent it away and then forgot all about it – moving along to last week I thought I had better check if it had arrived safely and it did….so now I am here to share some images of my Altered Paintbrush. I love how it turned out and will definitely be making one for my new Studio (when I get the time of course). Products used: Lindy’s Stamp Gang Mist (Tea Pot Purple) Viva Décor Precious Metal (500, 501)…

Card Club Halloween Swap
This is what my desk looked like on Tuesday night after a big creativity session making Naomi-Jon and my Halloween swap items for today at Scrapbook Fantasies. This is my Haunted House Pencil Holder. I have used some Tim Holtz cutting dies and a lot of Ranger products to create the Haunted House as per Tim’s tag instructions on his Blog. This is the Lantern Basket I made for Naomi-Jon to swap. The La-La Land stamp has been Copic coloured and paper pieced. The lantern basket is similar to the one featured in the Chocolate Dreams issue of the Magnolia Magazine.

WOYWW – Pif Gift
This is the gift that I made for the WOYWW 2nd Anniversay PiF swap. I sent it to Spyder (Lyn) in the UK and it has finally arrived. I really hope she enjoys this notebook as much as I enjoyed creating it. The card that I sent with it was featured in this post just before the 2nd Anniversary.

Crafting
We had our traditional “Family” Santa portrait today at Stockland and the kids each received an ornament decorating kit from Santa. This is the beautiful piece of art that Noah created with his, with the addition of half a bottle of Kindy Glitz. (It is actually a Gingerbread Man)
